MediaKick writes: A product of UTV Ignition Games and headed up by Takeyasu Sawaki, of Devil May Cry and Okami fame, El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is certainly a game that had a lot of promise. Beautiful screenshots and astounding trailers were aplenty and it seemed that we were going to see a truly innovative new third-person action game that was really going to succeed and, in certain ways, it does. Unfortunately, however, it falters in some key areas that can really mar the experience.
