A sandbox adventure filled with rabid zombies and set on a tropical island? Approach with caution and an open mind. Don't forget to have fun.
We might be in the age of remasters, but it doesn't look like the Dead Island 2 devs believe remaking the original game is the right move for the series.
but remakes require far less effort for these companies and they can still charge $70 for them!
Feel like everyone makes fun of Skyrim re-releasing like 18 times yet applaud these remasters elsewhere. Would much prefer NEW games
Making sequels really is the way to go. Otherwise we'll be stuck playing only the first entry, forever!!!
Josiah Motley of KnowTechie writes: "I love video game trailers. While I don’t believe they are an integral part of a game’s success (especially these days), there’s something about a well-produced trailer that really just reminds me why I like video games."
It’s the music. It’s perfect. I agree with this for sure, it is well choreographed….unfortunately the game didn’t live up to the trailer.
Have you ever seen any of the MGS 3 or MGS 4 trailers? Those blow this out of the water for me.
Kevin F. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "Many of the best Xbox 360 games are playable on the Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. Some even with some enhanced visuals and performance. Unfortunately, not every game from the Xbox 360 library has received this glorious feat of being able to be played on more modern Microsoft consoles."
The Spider-man games will never happen. The xbox 360 Marvel Ultimate Alliance games have a better chance of happening than Spider-man titles but won't happen. The Xbox One Ultimate Alliance games delisted years ago
Yeah... you can totally forget about those entries that got delisted because of licensing issues. Those are not happening.
If you have a friend to play with, it's definitely worth it. If not, you'll have a lonely experience or be raging at random people who will wander off.
Forget all the "immersion" reviewers want. This game is about having fun. I'm fine with the graphical glitch or two.
i wanted what we saw with the family trailer..
obviously this game is not...
havent played it.. but its obvious. this is not the horror game that i was looking for...
I disagree with the score and most of the comments, im playing through on co-op with on of my friends and as far as it goes an open world zombie RPG is just awesome, theyve really nailed the survival aspect with weapons breaking and stamina and how tough the zombies eventually become i.e flaming infected!
I suppose it worked in y favour that i thought the initial trailer was meh and the game still captures that dire dark feeling, A guy asks you to kill his family ffs.....if you need to be able to kill a child zombie for a game to be "emotionally impactful" then you need to get your prioritities sorted.
I'll play Dead Island someday when it has been properly patched. My friend bought the day and said it's very buggy. No interested in playing now with the bugs as part of the "experience". Then again, zombie bugs are supposed to be part of the game.
I'd give it a 9/10 for my experience. I haven't come across any glitches with quests not working or not continuing from the save point. The only issue with it is texture pop-in. However, it only occurs when I load a different area. After it loads, I don't have any issues. On PS3 too.
