Idolmaster Follow-up Dances on 360

Japanese Xbox 360 fans should be delighted to hear that they will be getting more Idolmaster goodness. Famitsu magazine this week has revealed that Bandai Namco will release the follow-up titled Idolmaster: Live For You!.

The game is not exactly a sequel since the gameplay mechanics have changed quite a bit. In the original game, players took the role of the manager for the idol group and you had to schedule everything from training lessons to stage performances. The drawback was that they could perform poorly if you slack off in their training, something which users such as myself probably didn't enjoy as much. Now you don't need to do that. In L4U! (that's short for Live For You! by the way), you only need to choose which of the idols you want on stage, coordinate their costumes and select your favorite song. Then just sit back and see them perform without a hitch. You can take pictures like the original game too.
