Pocket Gamer: Bloons TD 4 Review

Bloons TD 4 offers nothing new, content to stick with an ageing formula that has long been passed by more progressive titles. While not unplayable, it's a half-hearted effort that lacks the cleverness and attention to detail of a truly fun tower defence game.

Nintendo Life: Bloons TD 4 Review

Nintendo Life: Last year the DSiWare service saw the release of Bloons TD. It was an unimpressive but acceptable entry into the overstuffed tower defense genre, and this year we're leaping ahead three sequels to Bloons TD 4. If Bloons TD 4 is at all representative of the course the series has taken, we can safely say we haven't missed much by skipping parts 2 and 3.

Nintendo Download for November 29, 2012 (North America)

Take flight with this week's Nintendo Download. AERO PORTER, one of four games from Level-5's Guild01 compilation lands on the Nintendo eShop. A famous yellow sprite is also running around and eating pellets on the Virtual Console. Both of these titles join a couple of DSiWare games to round out Nintendo's weekly downloads.

Has anyone picked up Bloons TD 4 for 3DS who can compare it to the OPTIONS of the iOS version?

Does it have the same depth of modes/balloon poppers/medals/challenges?
