Review: 100 Classic Books - Examiner

Nintendo has transcended many genres before and now they are transcending what you picture gaming to be and fathom. Before the success of the Nintendo DS and Wii, gaming was all about high-quality software and fun, entertaining games that would expand our minds and imaginations. Instead of delivering us into a fully animated fantasy world that tells us a story through interactive sequences, Nintendo has gone back to a simpler time: A time where people had to use their imaginations to create the worlds and go through perilous journeys in unknown realms with nothing but their minds. The 100 Classic Books collection offers a robust lineup of top-notch books that will stimulate your mind and release the floodgates to your imagination.

Some really great books in this collection. For $20, it's a great deal.

I don't know why anyone would pay for books you can get online for free (legally)... not to mention that I can't imagine reading on the DS would be enjoyable.

The idea of transforming a paper book into an electronic format isn't a new idea, but with the popularity of devices like the iPad, Kindle and Nook, the digital delivery of books seems to be staying put.
