So what good is an action RPG if the action part is mind-numbing and the story is dull? Nothing much. From the ground up, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is intended for fans, and perhaps that's how it should stay. Alas, no amount of cutting-edge DS visuals, Final Fantasy lore, or Disney characters is going to save this game. If you're not an aficionado, then maybe you should stay away from this Kingdom Hearts installment because it won't spark your interest for the franchise.
The future could be filled with revived Nintendo DS classics. Hopefully it happens!
My kid yesterday proclaimed he liked the DS more than the Switch because the controls work on the go. Then I asked if he would rather have Monster Hunter Stories 2 on Steam or Switch and he chose Steam. So proud!

Might be a controversial opinion but I've always thought Sora after KH1 was a very naive and one dimensional protagonist.
Dunno about the other games, as he was pretty typical of the first game, but in KH3 he seems like a complete idiot, whose only purpose is to act like a buffoon and provide comic relief. I think overall, they've lessened his overall relevance to the plot.
