SFX-360 writes: "Quake III Arena is considered one of the greatest games of all time. It was a game that was about only one thing: "Frag or be fragged!" It was fast-paced, balls to the wall, over the top, and had plenty of bloody carnage to boot. Quake III Arena was the reason to play online games as well as proving your dominance in the virtual world. Now Quake III Arena is coming to Xbox Live Arcade with a new name (Quake Arena Arcade) and some new changes to make the gameplay better than ever before.
Quake Arena Arcade is still the same game that was released 10 years ago on the PC, Sega Dreamcast, and Playstation 2. Recently PC users have been able to relive the game with Quake Live. The upcoming Quake Arena Arcade on Xbox Live Arcade will come with some changes and new elements which will make Quake Live obsolete. So what's changed and what's new? Keep reading to find out..."
The Quake Franchise has become a name in the gaming industry that demands respect for its accomplishments. However, it's reign of nearly two decades is at an end. The Quake series and iD software cannot compete with today's gaming industry. The lack of playerbase, lack of customer support and player/developer interactions makes the once great game lack the necessary traffic to keep it relevant.
DSOGaming writes: "Ah, the good old days of Quake 3. Those frantic deathmatches can’t be easily forgotten and a lot of gamers are currently enjoying them via Quake Live. However, it appears that some people wish for a next generation version of iD’s best multiplayer game. Well, we got some bad news as there won’t going to be one anytime soon. When a fan asked for a new Quake 3 game, John Carmack said that it would not happen."
This dude seems to only have 360 on his mind. Make it for PS3 and PC cross platform play. It's not like PS3 doesn't have mouse and keybored support. Promblem solved. Oh wait I forgot he's a crappy PS3 dev. If it doesn't easly translate between 360 and PC then he doesn't want anything to do with it.
all i want to know is...Where`s my Doom 4?, so i can take it & go back into my underground bunker & play it & never be seen again til Doom5.
XMNR: DLC content for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas are on sale on Xbox LIVE along with Doom II and Quake Arcade Arena.
Just buy GOTY edition for Fallout 3 and TES4.
The horse armor isn't worth it.
I would just wait for Fallout NV, goty( I don't know if NV got and goty award) or w/e edition come out.
lol That pic, I remember when that horse armor DLC came out in 2006 good times lol horse armor FTW! = )
What other Fallout:NV packs are worth it besides Old World Blues?
I didn't see any other DLC packs get that much praise.
