Shane at GameCloud writes: "Fist of Awesome is a funny ride from beginning to end, full of bear humour and puns galore. It’s not a perfect beat-em-up by any means, but it’s still a game which should hook fans of the genre with its solid gameplay and colourful vibe. The foremost goal for Fist of Awesome is thrashing bears and other animals with a smile, and, in my opinion, I believe the team at “I Fight Bears” have certainly accomplished that. Punching bears in the face has never been more fun!"
Hardcore Gamer: The new Humble Weekly Bundle has dropped and if you’re thirsting for some classic beat-em-up action, you really should check it out.

Please note that this review is for bearded folk only; those of you that do not have said beard must spend an eternity ever wondering what it is like to be so blessed by such awesome chops. Fist of Awesome is a manly-man's game; it makes those Old Spice commercials seem like a group of frail little school-girls huddled up around the newest fashion doll (now with 8 opposable joints!). In the world of video games, Fist of Awesome is Chuck Norris; that fist hidden in Chuck's beard? It is a Fist of Awesome. If you do so happen to have a beard, please, pick up the nearest fallen tree to use as a tooth pick and come right on into this wonderful land of bear-punching goodness.
Greg Micek writes: "We've got 30 minutes of Nathaniel’s beard playing First of Awesome; a side scrolling alternate history beat-em-up that was funded on Kickstarter in 2012. It’s been receiving some mixed reviews since being released on Steam earlier this month, so instead of reading a bunch of fancy words, why not watch someone else play it and decide for yourself?"
