Troy Baker Talks, Voicing The Joker, Ben Affleck As Batman @GamerFitnation

GamerFitnation’s Antwand “Blackbible” Pearman got to talk with the voice of the Joker in Arkham Origins at NY Comic Con 2013. Troy Baker is the voice behind the ever present smile of a young Joker in the upcoming game. His charismatic interpretation of the Joker’s style and vocal kinks make the character seem real and twisted in all the right ways. For those who aren’t familiar with the voice actor, you might recognize his voice a

Troy Baker's Ben Affleck and Matt Damon as impression is hilarious.

Deadpool6163834d ago

He's an excellent voice actor. His vocal range, accents, and pitch control are all rather outstanding.

ATi_Elite3834d ago

Ben Affleck as Batman is a JOKE. Dude sucks as an actor.

Heisenburger3834d ago (Edited 3834d ago )

Clooney as Batman was a joke.

Affleck is much better than George, at least imo. I was really pleasantly surprised when watching The Town.

Plus he's a great director.

Don't be a female dog.

Ghostdogg3834d ago

Ben Affleck as the new Batman can be summed up in one word......LAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMME

Heisenburger3834d ago (Edited 3834d ago )

Just like Ledger as Joker!! Blah blah blah blah blah.

Yak yak yak.

Ghostdogg3834d ago

Ledger did a great job as joker and won an Oscar and Golden Globe for it.

ATi_Elite3834d ago

Ben Affleck is Ben Affleck in every Got Dang movie. He's not a character actor like Heath Ledger.

Ben Affleck SUCKS! Just go watch Dare Devil but PLEASE have someone handy to stop you from killing yourself as Ben is HORRIBLE in the movie and I expect him to SUCK just as bad in Batman.

(The Entire Batman Franchise went to Hell after Micheal Keaton left)

anyone who laughed at Heath Ledger has Never seen any of Mr. Ledgers work especially his work in Monster's Ball. Heath could always act.

Heath Ledger won a Golden Globe and an Oscar for his role as the Joker!

Ben Affleck will never win an award for acting because dude SUCKS.

(Now as a Director Ben is pretty good)

Heisenburger3834d ago (Edited 3834d ago )

First of all, learn how to reply.

Secondly, look at Ben Affleck's credentials as both an actor and director.

The DD thing is such a weak argument. Dare Devil SUUUUUUCKED, but he wasn't actually terrible. That's if you can look past weak writing. His actual performance.

Okay, Reindeer Games is one of the worst movies of all time, imo.

He has grown and learned over the years. I hate having to repeat myself, but Argo and The Town(both acting and directing) were absolutely phenomenal.

ESPECIALLY when you compare it to some crap like the Dare Devil movie.

I didn't like A Knight's Tale starring Heath Ledger. That doesn't magically erase his hard work and awards.

Just like some loser on the internet crying into his bat-blanky doesn't magically erase Ben's obvious talent as an actor and a director.

Affleck is better than some Bradley Cooper type clown, which would be your alternative.

Affleck is at least as good as Michael Keaton(my favorite batman) acting wise, likely better.

However Zack Snyder is a hack. So the movie is going to suck. Just like man of steel, sucker punch, 300, ECT.

The best Batman Arkham game still isn’t on PS5, and that’s a problem

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is almost here, but I can't revisit the best Arkhamverse game on PS5 without sacrificing quality.

Not a fan of Orgins. Blame it on the absence of Conroy & Hamill. Blame it on the lack of atmosphere compared to Asylm. Hell blame it the devs thst dicked over Wii U owners like me that purchased the game only for support be dropped as a thank you to me. It's better than Knight but that's not saying much. I don't care for that entry either.

Rebel_Scum91d ago

tbh buying a game like that for WiiU should’ve been an obvious non-purchase when it existed on better hardware.

Cacabunga91d ago

Origins is amazing..
my favorite Batman is Batman and Robin on mega drive.. an HD REMASTER of that would still look glorious

ZeekQuattro91d ago

I got it launch. Kinda hard to go back. I'm supposed to know they were going to drop support months after the fact. 🤣

Exvalos91d ago

You sound like a salty fanboy, that it didn't come to your precious plastic of choice. It's not the developers fault Nintendo continues making underpowered hardware. It's our fault because we keep buying it. Yes I say (we) I'm part of the problem as well.

ZeekQuattro91d ago

I have a PS3 and a Wii U. How was I a salty fanboy? I bought the game on the system I wanted it for.

Rebel_Scum91d ago

Nah my comment has nothing to do with whether you’d know or not that they’d drop support.

Buying any AAA game of that era for a WiiU you should’ve known you’d be sacrificing graphics and load times.

LucasRuinedChildhood92d ago

It's solid but Origins is definitely not the best Arkham game.

LoveSpuds91d ago

Smacks of hyperbole to me, talk about clutching at straws to create some drama around PS5!!

Titles like these are designed to get you to come in, go to their comment section and tell them how they're so wrong so they can boost their numbers.

Phoenix7691d ago

Even though its not the best arkham game in the series, its still an enjoyable game in its own right. What it do really well at though, was the crime investigations scenes. Which imo, were the best of the franchise.

goldwyncq91d ago

I don’t know about best game but it definitely has the best story and boss fights.

boing191d ago

Never played it and recently I've finally tried it via cloud on psn. It's not the best for sure, but it ain't bad either.

Batman: Arkham Origins - Open World Busy Work that Doesn't Hold Up 10 Years Later

Batman: Arkham Origins launched 10 years ago today, and sadly doesn't stand the test of time as well as its predecessors.

Petebloodyonion172d ago

I fail to grasp why this title is worse compared to Arkham City (according to the article) as the author didn't provide any argument to explain why aside from that it felt the bigger map compared to Arkham Asylum made the experience less tight.
More importantly, the author seems like he never played Arkham City since he described the game as linear (alongside Asylum).

Neil Druckmann And Troy Baker Experience The Last Of Us At Halloween Horror Nights

This looks awesome. ’ Halloween Horror Night sends Neil Druckmann, Co-Studio Head & Head of Creative at Naughty Dog, and Troy Baker, the actor behind Joel, on a terrifying excursion of the “The Last of Us” haunted house, based on Naughty Dog and PlayStation’s award-winning post-pandemic video game.

Christopher214d ago

Neil's body language seems to say the opposite of what he says. He doesn't seem to react to anything other than pointing.

mkis007214d ago

To me it looks like he is not easily scared.

Garethvk212d ago

You have to wonder if it is one of those cases of I know I have to be here for P.R. reasons but I am not really excited to be here.
