Xbox One Exclusive Dead Rising 3′s Gameplay Shows Two Minutes of Explosive Action, Quite Literally

The upcoming Xbox One exclusive Dead Rising 3 promises to bring the zombie apocalypse to a new level of complete madness, and the promise might actually be kept if the footage surfaced today is a good indicator of what the game will offer.

I only played DR1. It was alright. Fun at first but boring after a while. Reminds me of Saints Row in it's Fun to boredom ratio.

Do you know how fun killings hordes of idiots is? Not very. I tended to simply run by them after the initial fun of "Hey look at this massive horde to slaughter" because it's just well...not very fun. Either have less enemies which are more of a threat separately and make a horde truly something to be afraid of, or just don't bother imo. It's especially apparent when a horde is the main enemy in the game. You end up ' hey I have to get to the shop across the street, let me just equip this chainsaw and walk through the horde holding a button down.

The game is basically running off crappy gameplay and hoping the idea of killings lots of zombies or a massive horde is enough to grab peoples attention. It sounds cool in theory, not in practice(again unless the horde is a threatening horde and your not supposed to fight them)

Well that's my experience with the series anyway, although I did like the other stuff in it such as the nutjobs and creative bosses. But I guarantee you fighting the hordes of zombies with lightsabers or whatever you can find is not nearly as fun as it sounds. It also looks fun, but it's simply not that fun in practice. More so tedious, again after the initial 'wow' is over.

I would have to agree with you. I would much rather have this game on the PS4 over Titanfall. Mainly because of the all of the chaos going on.

Looks fun, but the graphics are quite underwhelming as are the animations, the only appealing thing to me is how many zombies are on the screen at once. Seems like a decent launch game, but one that will be quickly forgotten.

This game is more than decent, trust me. I thought Dead Rising 2 was crap when I saw videos but once I've tried it in co-op mode it was one of coolest gaming adventures ever! Can't wait to play this one in co-op! Full blown city! DR2 overwhelmed me with all the things you can do there...million ways to kill a zombie. This is gonna be so much better! Getting it day one with my XO :D!

sorry but dead rising changed things and was the first sand box zombie game to come out. after that we had lots of games similar to it, so in a way they changed the market.

this was fine to me at e3 reveal when it seemed a bit more serious but now its lost that tense environment from inception....its still great that u can play how u want to but knowing previous achievements it will still force u do do wacky things to get em all...like wearing women's clothes or wearing a certain percentage of all clothes......
