First Dragon Age 3 screenshot revealed at Bradford Animation Festival

BioWare art and animation director Neil Thompson revealed the first screenshot for Dragon Age 3 during a talk at the Bradford Animation Festival.

Highlighting how video game art has progressed throughout the years, Thompson first showed an image of Space Invaders, then Mass Effect 3 and finally the image of Dragon Age 3, saying “how we got from here as an interactive screen to this, and to this, and ultimately to this”

I have never struggled so much to finish a game, I am not looking forward to the 3rd one. Things would have to drastically change, from story to mechanics, if they want my support.

DAO was purely Bioware game....
DA2 was EA+Bioware_2nd_Tier game....
DA3 is basically EA+Bioware(Only in the name) game....
Bioware's golden era of Muzyka+Zeschuk has ended....
Copycat and greedy maestros(Hudson+Laidlaw) era has begun...

Hudson IS the director of all MASS EFFECT games, Jade Empire and the first Knights of the Old Republic. He is the one that actually controlled development.

Muzyka and Zeschuk are CEOs and producers. While they are great guys for sure, for having an independent company for a decades is a great achievement but that does not mean they created the games. They are top bosses who approve and fund great ideas from their teams and help them to walk in a certain direction.

I just blame EA for because, obviously, want games released to the market really fast. Once you have a publisher like EA, your game will go wrong even if it is developed by the best of the industry out there.

Don't get me wrong!!!.....
I respect Hudson for his work on KoToR and Jade Empire and ME1....
But after coming under the hood of EA, look what he has done.....
Though successful games,ME2 and ME3 became the pioneer examples of dlc milking cutting content to sell as dlcs.....
Actually, its hard to see a dev I worshipped for last 15 years to go down like that........

I agree that DA Origins was the better game, but I enjoyed DA II as well. I hope they make it like Origins, but with DA II combat system.
