game is not copying any of the right things from SSB I would love for it to be as good or even better the SSB but by the way its looking now its going to be a flop its not doing anything right.

R_aVe_N4273d ago

It does what is very important it is fun as hell to play. In my opinion more fun than SSB.

Is this US only ? can't see it on PSN

HebrewHammer4273d ago

Beta doesn't go public until September I believe. It'll be worth the wait though. It's an absolute blast.

StayStatic4273d ago

Ah okay thanks , was storming through PSN wondering where it was xD

Knight_Crawler4273d ago

I agree. I hope Super Bot are not offended by the numerous SSB clone articles that have been posted and don't try to be totally different than SSB this late into production.

My gripes right now.

1. The speed of the game seems too slow
2. The characters feel too floaty kind off like how sack boy feels in LBP.
3. Roster is not what I expected considering that I am huge PS1 and PS2 fan. (Hopefully DLC can fix that)
4. I dont like the cell shaded art style direction they took but that can not be changed now and I will just have to adjust.

Capt-FuzzyPants4273d ago

No hopefully DLC won't fix that. If more PS1 and PS2 characters are too be included then they should be in the game at launch. And if that isn't possible, then the DLC better be free.

It wouldn't have mattered, Sony would've rushed it out and left it to die. More so now than before with their focus now being on SP narrative driven AAA games.

CrimsonWing69519d ago

Oh, but somehow Smash Bros. 64 made it work?

It just couldn’t compete with Smash Bros. and it wasn’t a free-to-play game like Multiversus.

PapaBop519d ago

I think it released at the right time. It's just after the success of Smash and Multiversus, it's finally time for a sequel.

spoonard519d ago

I'd be all in on a remake or remaster of the original. I enjoyed it because I didn't sit there and compare every aspect to SSB. I just enjoyed it as it was.

Magatsuhi519d ago

Sony should make part 2 and dump a good amount of money on it. Scrap super only kills and it's bound to succeed.

Father__Merrin519d ago

Yes the power kills spoilt it completely WTH was they thinking you should have hp bar that's it

God of War: Ragnarok Weirdly Makes PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Canon

God of War: Ragnarok has plenty of fun references to PlayStation history, but now fans have discovered a conversation that calls back to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale — the crossover fighting game released for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Nyxus526d ago

I wouldn't say canon. More like an easter egg.

Deathdeliverer525d ago

That’s interesting. It actually does make it canon lol. He mentioned it in a mainline game. I’d say that’s pretty cool.
