So many to choose from, but my biggest is developers that don't post updates.

My least favorite thing is when there is just a up wall of text with no images or ways that they have broken it up. It's almost like why even bother?

People jumping on the Kickstarter-hate bandwagon is what I hate most. It's a great tool for developers and a huge boon to gamers despite some obvious and calculated risks inherently involved with any type of backing. The risk outweighs the reward--that's why I back. Anyone who is angry they backed something can only blame themselves, I've never been angry, simply disappointed, but that's rare because I don't just back anything and everything.

The trick is to back what you think is cool, and put as much in equal to how much faith you have in the final product coming to fruition as intended. Also, try to go for unique ideas with simple goals, and small, passionate developers. I did back Shenmue and MN9 but those were special cases.

Today a project creator can struggle to make a successfully funded game on even five digits unless you have a big name behind you like Ron Gilbert.
