Well the potential hours of frustration that you may spend simply trying to get the game to load up are not worth the withering amounts of broken content that you’re offered in return. to make it clear that this is not an attack on the game itself. Unless you’re a big DICE supporter who specifically wants to help the developers by giving them an idea of some of the more glaring bugs and issues they may have with server support through the forums, or, you’re willing to accept that the beta is not the final product, you will not enjoy the beta
Cheaters & hackers have been causing grief on Battlefield 1, Hardline & BF4 servers, with nonstop DDoS attacks among other things. Unfortunately, EA has remained silent about it.
if this happened in 2042, they'd have something to say. which is weird, considering battlefield 1 has more players on steam right now.
Its so obvious that EA is doing this or hired ppl to mess up the games so that we’d be forced to have just 1 Battlefield working.
Honestly it’s probably the devs themselves. They did an update to bf4 way back that kinda made assault rifles doo doo in hopes that people would flock to BF1 cuz BF4 was too perfect
The shooter genre is one of the most beloved videogame genres in the gaming community, and rightfully so. From DOOM Eternal to Battlefield 4, passing through The Outer Worlds, the Xbox Game Pass has a lot to offer when it comes to amazing shooter experiences. Come check out some great shooter games available on Xbox Game Pass!
There's a bunch of great shooters on gamepass; both legacy and new.
A recommendation I have is a work in progress preview title called Anacrusis. It's a lot of fun, and has a cool aesthetic.
KeenGamer: "Sometimes a game starts out as a buggy mess and we all just stop and think, “that definitely could have spent a bit more time in the oven”. This is the case for these 5 games which infamously marked their place in recent game memory."
I agree with the author. This is a Beta, so if you jump in expecting it to play like a demo for a full retail game, then you will be sorely disappointed. It is a Beta which means it will have bugs, glitches, and server lag/connection issues etc.
When you encounter these issues, as a Beta tester it is your job to then report these to DICE, so they can get note the issues and fix them before release. If you don't report the problems to DICE, then you do everybody a disservice.
If that is you, then it is better that you wait for the Demo, and stop whining about a Beta.
Battlefield 3 beta had so many problems and that game turned out to be really good. Dice supports their games far after release.
I've accepted it to be a mess, the collision detection cursor should be changed though.
I am just hoping for better performance at launch. I have no issue with BF3, everything maxed.
BF4? I get roughly half the performance and, weirdly, no matter what the settings, I seem to hit the same frames. BF4 at 1080 with everything on plays just as poorly as it at 720 with no AA and everything on medium.
Definitely an optimization thing.
This is with the beta drivers, mind you. I was constantly under ten frames without them.
