Popular Starcraft 2 ‘shoutcaster’, Husky, is the first to have uploaded footage of the beta for Blizzard’s upcoming Battle.net launcher. The new desktop launcher allows users to launch and manage Blizzard titles like Diablo III, World of Warcraft and Starcraft 2 all from one place. It’s looking pretty slick, if a little basic, and it seems Blizzard are trying to turn it into a platform similar to EA’s Origin. Hopefully with less controversy.
Blizzard Entertainment has announced the opening of beta registrations for “World of Warcraft: The War Within,” inviting players to explore new subterranean worlds beneath Azeroth.
