that's bloated gamer entitlement for you... complain about every little thing: character models, game endings, cover art, and now the size of the game world.
Try reading the article and understanding the gameplay implications. Such as stopping and paying a frickin' toll to get to get to the other side of the map and still taking an obscene amount of time.
This article is not called "entitlement"...it is called "consideration"
But when fanatics hear their favorite developers/games getting "attacked", they don't usually read the article, I guess. They just throw around words like "entitlement" and stuff to make their fingers in their ears seem to make more sense.
And don't pretend like this guy is responsible for ALL OF THE ARTICLES on "character models, game endings, cover art, and now the size of the game world"
I'm not interested in the peni- erm, WORLD size competition. If developers like Rockstar and Bethesda worked less on making big, half-interesting maps and more on bug-free, interactive worlds, I would personally be glad.
They only care about putting "1,000,000,000 square miles to explore!" on the back of the box, when in reality it's "999,999,900 square miles of buildings you'll never interact with!"
I can't wait for GTA 6 when it comes out on next gen systems so the world it's even bigger, I can imagine driving from one side of the map to the other side and take like an hour, that would be awesome
