I'm only at that part where you kill those three goons on Chinese New Year... and I am loving it!

I feel it is unfair to disagree with his opinion without commenting as others have done.

I am at the same part as you but am having a different experience. I am no longer comparing the game to Blood Money because it is entirely different and has felt so for a while. However the game overall to me is rather disappointing with off putting forced stealth parts, a poor disguise system that feels unfair to the player and smaller and simpler hits than Blood Money. I feel as though the whole game has been dumbed down to give it a movie feel. As if the developers after finishing Blood Money had much more ambitious ideas than Absolution but settled with what could make the most money. This is just my personal opinion and should not detract from yours or the reviewers.

What forced stealth parts are you talking about? Sure it has a slightly different feel compared to Blood Money but it's different. I agree about the disguise system it just plain sucks.

@Nunchez

After switching to Expert rather than purist it has gotten better but purist is broken. There are just more linear parts as opposed to the open hit areas. It could do without some of the filler but is still good. Normal is way too easy and purist is not fun. So expert is just right

How IO turned Hitman around, from Absolution to World of Assassination

But on the inside, at IO Interactive, much more was going on.

You mean destroyed it with this tethered single-player campaign BS... And only the first few levels of the third modern game were on the disc! I'll never support this crap at any price-point! They've lost me as a customer.

Hitman is, and has been, a remarkable series developed by some of the best. Some are better than others, but every Hitman is challenging and fun.

Sure, there have been some stumbles and fumbles, but always in pursuit of the perfect Hitman game. The most recent trilogy is a masterclass in level design.
