Ken levine should think about his own games instead of teaching other developers how to do theirs.

I personally enjoy cutscenes, and I know that many others do. There's absolutely no way in which a non cinematic event can be as expressive and impactful as a fully directed cutscene. The two things can and should exist. It's that simple.

Saying "I don't like to use this tool, so you all shouldn't use it either" is extremely short sighted.

Quick time events and mass-effect-like interactions are nothing else than a whole lot of cutscenes tied up together by small interactions.

Funny how he puts Mass Effect on a pedestal, and that's one of the most cutscene-heavy games ever.
