Scott from The Controller Online writes: "El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron released about five months ago in Japan to critical acclaim. I think I'm going to have to find some of these critics and ask them what it is I'm missing here. El Shaddai scores major points for its art style and subject matter but fails in just about every other aspect. I truly hate having to trash a game that takes a brave new angle in style and story but this game is a mess. Read on to find out why."

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron HD Remaster is finally coming to Nintendo Switch, physically and digitally. However, there's a catch.
Tooday El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron creator Takeyasu Sawaki released a video announcing new information about the Switch port.
this game is purely amazing shouldn't be below an 8 and thats low for this game
You know, this isn't always the case for a lot of things but, usually when the majority agrees that something is good, then it's probably good.
I know El Shaddai is an excellent game, and that this is a pitiful review. Trying to say that this game is below average is a travesty. Then again, I wouldn't put it passed the reviewer to enjoy CoD.
**EDIT** What's the funniest part of this interview is that the reviewers main gripe seems to a supposed lack of "clarity." Seems that, to the reviewer, everything must have a clear and defined purpose or it's no good.
WTH is this? I think this review is a mess, not the game.
Im... im... my mind is...
blown.
Looks like I'll have to get this one and decide for myself.
