I can't think of any other trilogy more deserving of an HD remake (except for Silent Hill)! When it says trilogy, I assume they are talking about the first three games. But what about the first game, does that mean the first MGS for PS1 or the Twin Snakes remake for GC? I'm guessing Twin Snakes, as it runs on the same engine as MGS 2. Even though I own all of them, I will buy them again for my PS3 collection:) Let's hope the rumors are true!
They should sell it 30 dollars : 3 games $10.00 each.
bundle 30 dollars or buy them separately for 10 dollars they should price this like this if not why in the Hell do hd re-makes knowing that they are old would be so costly its not like its a collectable and never being sold again.
Yea it included the Directors Cut version of the first one i believe and the re-releases of MGS2 and MGS3, it's pretty cheap to I found it at Walmart for $20 so i picked it up.
Yeah it's like BCR and RisingDragon said, they were only the original games (PS1 version of MGS, the Substance version of MGS2, and the Subsistance version of MGS3) in that Trilogy collection, and none of them were changed for that release. The downside to that pack also is that they didn't include the second disc for the Substance or Subsistance (actually I can't remember if Substance had a second disc or not), which means that you don't get some of the really good extras.
Hell Yes!!! This is a great idea!!! For those gamers who have not experienced the MGS Franchise, please pick it up, as gamers i feel like we should reward directors/studios/franchises that put as much quality as there is in the MGS Series. Truly the reason why i got into gaming. Can't wait for MGS Rising, MGS5!
Homie, I own MGS2 and 3 on PS2 in practically brand new condition. But not gonna lie, I'd pay for a trilogy if its in HD etc, since I never personally owned 1. Only played it at various friends and relatives gaffs
Sounds good! I'll definitely replay 1 & 2 again in HD. Haven't beaten 3 yet, so that'll be icing on the cake! 4 is still sealed somewhere in my room and will be played sometime later.

Unless they're using Twin Snakes, I don't think MGS1 is getting a HD version. I hope to Christ they don't use Twin Snakes, though.

graphics aside, MGS1 on PS1 is the DEFINITIVE VERSION.
unless Konami gives the PS1 port a MGS2 facelift while keeping the score and voices intact... count me out on MGS TS maing it into the HD Trilogy.
