Greenberg standard PR statement:

Our (fill in the blank) is better than (insert company) (insert product)/is more anticipated than (insert film/book/tv show)/will sell better than (pick any consumer electronic product)
Malice-Flare  +   1972d ago
heh, makes you wonder...
just how much Move is selling that they have to put out a statement at like this...
Treyb3yond  +   1972d ago
Where arrre you??

Maybe Greenturd needs to keep his own house in order before making comments on others?

AG... you are an idiot.... I am a 360 owner and the crap you have shown for Kin. is not even as good as the stuff with Move. Both have meh launch titles, at least you can play REAL games with Move NOW...

what about Fable and Kin. . .choke, choke..

look in the mirror before you open you mouth.

and they pay this fool how much to make stupid comments...

Yeah shame on Sony for adding Move support in free patches for so many games along with a number of other developers, shame on Sony for having a decent line up of games designed specifically for the Playstation Move controller at launch. Of course he thinks a controller is better for games like HALO, CoD etc because its impossible to play those games without a trigger and guess what you can't pull a trigger on Kinect. I'm really enjoying the Move controllers. I might end up buying Kinect for my Xbox but for motion control it will probably be Move that gets most of my time.
edhe  +   1971d ago
usually you pull the trigger on the joypad.
Holeran  +   1972d ago
He should just come right out and say it "we tried to make several first person shooter games work with kinect but it was never precise enough to tell when someone was squeezing their trigger finger".
Baka-akaB  +   1972d ago
Totally of topic but i bursted in laughters when i saw that :

"Aaron Greenberg (Hill) gets things done. The ambitious 23-year-old has exaggerated his way into a dream job just in time for a career-making assignment. His mission: Fly to London and escort a rock god to L.A.s Greek Theatre for the first-stop on a $100-million tour. His warning: Turn your back on him at your own peril."

They couldnt have found a better look alike at hollywood

They are both a day late and a dollar short
Wii was built from the ground up to be a console where motion controls were integrated.

Move and Kinect are simply add ons, and won't attract the same crowd as Wii. Both will fail miserably in the end. Fanboys and those who really love the Wii will buy it, but most people (like me) won't bother unless an absolute must have killer app comes along that makes us change our mind. I'll play KZ3 and Socom with a controller, thanks.
Vip3r  +   1972d ago
Basically, MS know Kinect is doomed and they need to make cheap, girls attacks to make them seem confident.
Clarence  +   1972d ago
This cat is a a$$hole. Kinect has shown that it has plenty of issues when it comes to performance.

That's the idea STUPID. Not to retard games like Kinect seems to be wanting to do so far.

Turn PS3 into an HD Wii for just $210.00
The only reason why anybody would be upset with what Greenberg said is because it is true. Sony has made it to where you can turn your Ps3 into an HD wii. Cost for 2 people to play move- $99.99 for the bundle which comes with
1 eye camera- 1-motion controller and 1-Sports bundle game. No navigation controller, that is $29.99xtra. Then for 1 extra setup so you can play 2players is $80 more.So for a complete setup with one game and 2-motion controllers and 2-Navigation controllers it will cost you $210 dollars and then there is the docking station(optional)thats an xtra $30. So kinect two player setup with one game $150. or Sony Move setup for 2 players $210-240.
Malice-Flare  +   1972d ago
how much is a Wii and an extra controller?

plus, can Kinect do FPS and rail shooters?

People actually care about this?
Jamaicangmr  +   1971d ago
"So we'd rather not have you have to choose between using a controller or motion controller;"

Thought Microsoft was all about choices. Arron is just an idiot.
Mister_G  +   1971d ago
Microsoft in "don't like Sony product" shocker!

Who would have though it? I expected MS to shower the Move with praise

I hate people who only acknowledges faults of others and not admit their own flaws.

Who would like such a person? There are idiots out there....
Dannehkins  +   1971d ago
Isn't this a good thing? It gets both support from Move only games as well as DualShock games. Hence, the library of Move compatible games increases, because it can be just patched in or developed in and offer a different kind of experience.

Isn't that just a win? I wouldn't call it into question at all, I would say that it was a damn clever idea.

Greenburg proves himself to be an idiot once again
"Our approach has been different, because we feel that a controller is the best way to play games like Halo or Call of Duty."

Keyboard/Mouse >>>>>> standard controller

And motion control has already been proven to work well with FPS games. If the Wii can do it well, then Move can do it even better.

But notice the only games that he can think of, the only genre that is, is FPS. Way to illustrate your point, Greenback.
edhe  +   1971d ago
I wonder who the hell has been saying that the Wii does FPSs well, and why you listend to them - oh wait so you could come up with something about Move.

His use of the FPS genre is an obvious one since it sells the most.

Sigh, i'm off to edge again.
Paradise Lost  +   1971d ago
IM sure Greenberg has asked devs to make a game where you can eat Cake with your hands on Kinect.

Lol, such a fail article. Nice to see Microsoft up to their old tricks. Trying to discredit what is more of a plus than a minus. The fact that you have the option to use the controller on move games is not a bad thing, in fact it lets more people enjoy the same thing.

And Move is actually out and has a somewhat good variety of games for it already. Couple that with the fact that many genres are being included, instead of Kinect's apparently casual-only thing, makes it imo the better choice.
