DeAno Jackson at PlayStation LifeStyle writes: "Earlier this week, I wrote an editorial about the complainers of PlayStation Home. In it, I mentioned that you get out of Home what you're willing to put into it. In this week's PSLS Presents feature, we're going to highlight an example of this.
The Nameless Ones (N1s) is a group formed in late January 2009 by regular posters on the official PlayStation Home forums, many of whom were original closed beta testers, with one goal in mind: to give individuals an open forum for mature, intelligent conversation regarding ways to make PlayStation Home an all-around better place and the gaming industry as a whole."
Benjamin Rivers has suggested that it is “totally possible” for two of his titles — Alone With You and Home — to be ported to Nintendo Switch.
I recently published an article about beating my Steam backlog by getting organised and the first game I’ve completed with this new approach is Home.
I chose Home not because of its production values or reviews, but because, well, it’s short. I needed a game to start my new approach on the right foot and read that Home takes less than two hours to beat.
Whatever my reasons for finally installing Home, I found it to be an enjoyable yet flawed title.
Handheld Players takes a look at the PS Vita new releases in February 2018.
mature conversation on how to get HOME better as opposed to people just bashing it is always welcome
So Evo, I see your a very busy man when your not hanging out at Home parties, special events, or on N4G. Anyway, hit me up some time for a chat, I've got a cam now so you can be thoroughly humbled by my real life awesomeness... my Homey doesn't do my coolness justice. lol.
On Topic,
To be honest, Home is actually too good for meeting other gamers once you learn that netiquette and social norms DO apply. I've already had to cull people from my friends list, you would think 100 friends is enough but not once you truly join the social scenes available in Home.
Anyway, it's good to see others being productive with their Home experience, instead of complaining about not being able to hit on chicks.
Love the article
I'm using HOME more and more. I spent an hour today just playing the "Helicopter Hit" mini-game (think people were getting annoyed waiting for me to bog off!) and I really can't understand anyone actively hating on it. Not your thing? Great, but for many users it's a great bonus with plenty of potential and I for one am glad Sony are taking their time to get it so right.
