Detective Grimoire was a fun, and really well-made game. But even though it was intended to be light-hearted and entertaining, those kindergarten puzzles really dragged it down.
Action-Adventure games have really taken hold in the past couple years with large titles like Broken Age and the Tell Tale series. Detective Grimoire is SFB Games attempt at capturing the details and drama of a murder investigation in a funny and interesting light. In a tale of supernatural creatures and wacky characters Grimoire will capture your heart if only for a few hours.
