148apps - Combine classic Worms with one part robots, plenty of in-app purchase and mix well with some fun.
Worms holds a special place in a large group of gamer’s hearts. The side scrolling turn based strategy game has been around forever and has seen iterations on countless platforms including Android. Blastron takes a lot from Worms, in fact if you called it “the free2play Worms” you wouldn’t be far off. It’s side scrolling, turn based, and contains a whole multitude of zany weapons and destructible environments, just like Worms. It also has a few differentiating features, most notably in Blastron you control one character rather than several, and more importantly, being a free2play game, it is riddled with IAPs.
iOS.AppsGoer writes:"Blastron is a multiplayer turn-based shooter available on iOS devices. In the game, players control robots, and attack enemy robots with all kinds of powerful weapons in an effort to obtain better weapons and gear. Your goal of Blastron is to blast other bots for points. The more powerful the weapon you use, the more potential points you will get."
GameZebo: On the scale of general automated awesomeness, it goes: robots, battlebots, battlebots with attitude, then battlebots with attitude and crazy weaponry. Kabam has jumped straight to the top of the scale with their newest iOS game, Blastron, which features all of the above in multiplayer death matches.
