Well I will already be buying my ps4 through flexible payment and I pay a minimum amount once a month which is very easy to keep up with but im not sure im a fan of this articles method of doing this as its alot stricter than buying from (littlewoods).

sure if you don't have the money on hand a sub could be the difference between buying one or not.
but the rumored $300 and 2 year sub is still to steep for a big impact.

now a pay $0 with 2 year sub for $24 a month would move some consoles.

Not going to happen, Sony at best would do PS+ for PS4 and offer more stuff. But it won't be anything like XBL, but thats a bad way to go when how they are doing it is good.

But I do hope the PSN store does get fix, I'm sick of it being slow.

yea the new ps store sucks... wish it just went back to the previous version.

same as HOME... wish it went back to how things were before.

I agree, but I'm not gonna like Gaikai since I'm the owner of 30+ PS1 games from FFVII - XenoGears, and more. I have 97 PS2 disc based games, and about 50 PS3 disc based games. So yeah i don't need to say more when it's obvious I'm a HUGE supporter of Disc based games.

When everything goes digital companies can screw you over, and what about when your console is no longer support you SOL(shit Outta LucK) unless they allow for you to transfer your download library to their next system.

No, I want to just buy it and get it over with, having to worry about paying it in installments would be a major pain in the ass imo.

Exactly its a game console not a phone, I'll be buying my console(s) straight up front one price period.

who'd want to pay more than the actual cost of the product over a set time period?

@Aceman18

If everyone had enough sense to do the math, "rent to own" places wouldn't exist.
Typical-Guy  +   470d ago
For me I'd rather own my OWN console, but it might be good for those who can't afford it at a high price!
hellvaguy  +   470d ago
Options are good I suppose for some, but ya I'd rather just flat out save up and buy one.

Why would Microsoft give you cheap hardware in exchange for a subscription commitment? People already proved they don't mind paying a lot of money for hardware, and then even more for a subscription. #morons

No and I'll probably never be. I'm fine with how it is.
DarkZane  +   470d ago
Sorry, I got more than enough money to buy it, so I will just go ahead and pay full price to get it.

Nope, I play mostly locally anyways...

Nope, no way.

Full price or nothing. I even do my cell phones that way and in the long run it works out because i get unlimited everything for just 50 a month as opposed to getting a new phone for 200 but then paying a bill of like a 100 a month.

As soon as Ps4 pre orders open up im dropping 150 on my order and wil pay the rest on launch day!!!!! %uck subscriptions!!!! If your going to do it make sure its an option not mandated.

It would be a silly idea, just save up the money and then buy one new in full.
