TOP 5: Big disappointment of this generation

As in other areas of entertainment such as movies and TV, the expectations are key to the spread of a game, either through videos, articles, and promises. Unfortunately, when we put hands on this title we find that proved not as innovative as it seemed, and that everything that we imagined, proved not so spectacular.

Undoubtedly, all who are fond of the juices have fallen into this "trap", and that's why we leave our TOP 5 of the games that excited us, that we look forward to the day of its release, which saw all videos, we appreciate all the pictures, but when we started playing them ... proved not what we expected:

Indeed, but i'd say a lack of quality JRPG's in general is up there.

Relientk774021d ago

I agree with that too, good point definitely

5/ Gears 2 - Multiplayer (unbalanced and rubbish matchmaking)

4/ Gears 3 - Single Player

3/ New Vegas - Glitchfest

2/ Halo 3 ODST - Just plain nasty

1/ Turok Dinosaur Hunter - !

*Honorary mention to Black Ops 2 for sucking so bad that I sold it, it's the only CoD I do not own.

Not defending Ubi. It's a crappy thing to do. But it's only one Hutt mission. There are other Hutt missions.

No matter how good this game turns out to be, it is a wait for a deep sale purchase for me.

CrimsonWing695m ago(Edited 5m ago)

Vote with your wallet. The only reason they do this is to get extra money and it appears that it works. If the game is good, I’ll shell out some extra money and buy it. If the game sucks I won’t even bother. You can save up money and buy it, wait for a sale and buy it, or don’t pay at all and enjoy your life. You got options.

It's A Crime That There's No Sleeping Dogs 2 Yet

Huzaifah from eXputer: "Sleeping Dogs from the early 2010s is one of the best open-world games out there but in dire need of a resurgence."

LG_Fox_Brazil21h ago

I agree, I consider the first one a cult classic already

isarai15h ago

You say "yet" as if it's even possible anymore. United Front Games is gone, along with anyone that made this game what it is

CrimsonWing691h ago

That’s what happens when games sell poorly. And I’ve seen people wonder why people cry when a game sells badly… this is your answer.

solideagle58m ago

Majority of the time it's true but if a company/publisher is big (in terms of money), they can take a hit or 2. e.g. I am not worried about Rebirth sales as Square will make Remake 3 anyway but if FF 17 doesn't sell then Square might need to look for alternative. <-- my humble opinion

Doesn’t Microsoft own the IP now since they acquired Activision?
