Of course not. I agree with the guy in the video, it's appropriate.

This guy should play manhunt

I think violence in games needs to be justified. If it's violent just for the shock value, it has no place in this industry.

If the story is gritty and the violence is purposeful, I'm definitely interested. Spec Ops: The Line is the perfect example, there is some tough content in that game - stuff that makes you cringe to see and doesn't leave you when you stop playing.

But it served a grander purpose and, for that, it doesn't bother me.

I think it had the perfect amount of violence! Wouldn't of wanted it any other way!

I wouldn't say I was bothered by the violence in the game, especially since I didn't spend much of the game executing melee finishers. The violence at the beginning is clearly a meaningful part of the introduction.

If its necessary in the games over all narrative.

The violence was there for a reason

It is a snuff Game. Even racist don't like being neighbors to murders. The argument is not very smart, much like your use of the word 'reason'. There is no healing adding more violence to a world of snuff-violence. If you hate racism, don't be racist. If you hate violence, don't be violent or do it to stop violence from taking place. Josephayal "The violence was there for a reason." You need a chainsaw to save someone? You don't even need one to kill a guy. It is only for you sick freaks who like snuff games.
As for History of a Django unNation, Quentin Tarantino is a hack knocking off 70 troupes.
I like violent video game. I have a unboosted Platinum in Crysis 2. But a chain saw to the face, close up. COME-ON-MAN.

How is this a snuff game? By that logic, every game where you kill enemies in a faction is a snuff game. GTA is one on criminals and cops. Farcry 3 is one on slavers. CoD is one of everyone but 'merica. Left 4 Dead is one on zombies because, seriously, all they want is a hug.

You're either a troll or you clearly have no idea what a snuff is.

What the hell did he expect to do in the game if not kill enemies? Invite them over for tea and crumpets for ten hours and tell them "you're wrong and mean" with them magically turning good?

Well duh with the all the so called controversial stuff in the game is the reason it is rated 18+ for mature, so if you don't like it don't buy it and stop crying about it.

Possibly to some but I feel like it has a deeper meaning, especially when you first get in a fight with Elisabeth and she says "You murdered them, Your a monster!". It totally made me see that a deeper narrative that continues throughout the game on the subject so the over brutalization is justified. That very first kill of the game was messed up though, made me laugh because I wasn't expecting it to go that far. Haven't beaten the game yet but im enjoying it so much.

No game can be too violent even the ones that were banned.

Games are no different than Art, they are a style of expression, all they need on them is a rating to ensure you are of age to see the style.

I don't think Infinite is too violent..

Possible Spoilers?

But the starting of the game when you go to the raffle drawing and Booker Skyhooks that cops face I said "HOLY FUCK!" pretty damn loud. It's a mature rated game just like BioShock 1 and 2 so of course it's going to have violence I expected that when I got the game and besides the people of Columbia are insane I will unleash a swarm of crows on them!

The violence was unneeded.

It wasn't too violent at all. The game doesn't even let you throw a baseball at people.
Max-Zorin  +   877d ago
The violence on that game is nothing. Manhunt 2 makes the violence on that game look like Sesame Street.
