This game is very kinetic, watching people play this has you on the edge of your seat, another good indie title is Rocketbirds, almost got the Platinum for that.

There are very few games that disturb me with their violence, either because it is almost always represented completely unrealistically or in a way that is very discernibly black and white.

But even with the old-school graphics, there's something...ridiculously unsettling about the killing in this game. It's so cold and surgical. Which personally I think is a good thing. There are VERY few games that make you realize the horror of what you're actually doing.

I couldn't have said it any better. Far Cry 3 tried to convey that but it got lost somewhere after the fight with Vaas. Hotline Miami's violence leaves you with an unsettled feeling even after you've seen your high score.

I know what you mean. I think the fact that the guy is disturbed has something to do with it. I don't remember the last time I played a game as batshit insane as Hotline Miami. I still can't believe its coming to PlayStation . Actually, it reminds me of Loaded.
