But not today!
Today we fight!

Anyway, good luck on your game. It is not as hard as EA want it to look like.

lol Thanks. Luckily, I won't be forcing people to always be connected to the Internet to play.

I'm in the same boat as you, wanting to create my own game but having no idea how. I just haven't had the stones to actually stop procrastinating and try and do it. Hopefully I can use your blog to either decide I can do it to or realise that it's a dumb pipedream I need to let go. Thanks for letting me and possibly an entire site full of procrastinating nerds use you as a guinea pig.

Ive been studying C++ for a bit and SDL. It takes some dedication to get started, but once you get into it, it's very enjoyable.

Im getting better at programming and I hope to get some clones up and running soon. Then i can start on some ideas I currently have.

It definitely takes dedication, that's something I'm experiencing right now. As for true programming, I won't be touching anything like C++, but learning how to use the functions in Construct 2 is taking a lot of patience.

I imagine someone with a better understanding of programming, like you, would be able to do things a little swifter in Construct 2.

@Sketchy_Galore

I've been in the boat for too long, and now I'm wondering if I'm going to end up looking like a fool. Regardless, I am still tinkering away with this concept and hoping to have something playable sometime next month.

Thanks for commenting, maybe we'll both have a game (of sorts) out someday.
