I wonder if RYSE is coming to Ps4 now that it too comes with a camera
MikeMyers  +   543d ago
If that list is all they got consider me not impressed.

I want to see at least 1 new ip at launch and at least 3 new ip's announced that are core games and not XBLA titles. Exclusive titles too, not things like Watch Dogs. If I don't see a commitment from Microsoft buh bye.
Trenta27  +   543d ago
Wasn't Fortnite PC exclusive?
paddystan  +   543d ago
Yes.
Gamer-40  +   543d ago
Maybe PGR5, Forza 5, new Epic IP using UE4, Fable 4 using UE4, new IP, Perfect Dark, Conker etc.
Wait and see.

Unless Microsoft is dropping some serious cash (they probably are) I don't expect Epic to do any exclusives this time.

I would love to see a new Conker and Killer Instinct, about the only thing they could do to get me to buy day one.

A miracle is needed to keep epic away from the PS4, did you not see unreal 4 running on PS4 and also the interview on gametrailers with one of the main EPIC games guys and how he went on about the 8gb gddr5 ram is a gift to developers from sony.

I think they are sticking to full third party development next gen.
WarThunder  +   543d ago
Kinect Sports Season Three
Dance Central 4

Awesome exclusives!
Cueil  +   543d ago
Nothing beats watching a bunch of hot chicks play Dance Central
Dlacy13g  +   543d ago
I can see most of those being there but I would swap out Ridge Racer 8 with the next Forza proper to be announced.

And add in Alan Wake 2

Thanks.
DeadlyFire  +   543d ago
Ryse is only one that stands out to me.

Fortnite will not be on X720 unless its on PS4. Epic pushed X360 last gen because its unified RAM pool and easier tech to develop on. This time around both will be pretty even on that stuff with Sony possibly having more power.
baraka007  +   541d ago
I hope MS does something better than that.
Ashunderfire86  +   543d ago
Way more multiplatform games in that list than exclusives. Xbox Next better have more exclusives shown at the big reveal and at E3. I am itching to hear Killer Instincts 3!!! I would love to see a great fighter for next gen.

Killer instinct, crimson skies, conker, etc...

They are sitting on some fantastic franchises. What are you waiting for?
Relientk77  +   543d ago
Dont forget Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, Kameo, Brute Force, MechAssault

they do have a good deal of franchises they could bring back and do something with

I would love another Brute Force and MechAssault.

I hate to talk smack... but thats a sad list.
Relientk77  +   543d ago
I think Microsoft really needs to get themselves some new original IPs
Smeagol2033  +   543d ago
And $ony needs more than just linear games
KillrateOmega  +   543d ago
Not a very exciting list...
SDF Repellent  +   543d ago
Please, it is a made up list. Microsoft will bring the thunder. I expect PG5/Forza5, Killer Instinct 3, Alan Wake 2, Fable MMO, Black Tusk's New IP, Ryse, Something from Epic, Lost Oddessey 2, Rugian new IP, Watchdog, COD, GTA5, Kinect Sports Season 3, Dance Central, and some other new stuff. Oh, and backward compatibility.
C-Thunder  +   543d ago
I want that stuff, but they've not exactly been heading in that direction. It will be a magical day when we see Killer Instinct again. I hope you're right but you probably need to replace some of that awesome stuff with new kinetic titles.
Dlacy13g  +   543d ago
If they can truly get Kinect 2 working they way it was originally envisioned then I would 100% Welcome Killer Instinct 3 as a Kinect title... but well...my fears are a bit justified at this point for any kinect games.
Skips  +   543d ago
"Microsoft will bring the thunder"

If the past few years are anything to go by when talking about bringing the core games (Especially new IP's). Prepare to be disappointed. Microsoft seems to be much more happy focusing on Apps and games like Kinect. While only sprinkling a few Halo's, Forza's, Gear's here and there.

They'll probably do to their few existing core games what they did to Fable. Turn them into Kinect titles.

*Shudders

And to what you said below

"Casual gamers outnumbered core gamers by 10 folds. After the first 3-4 years of a console life cycle, when all the core gamers bought a console, how else will console manufacturers going to increase console sales if they don't try to entice the casuals"

And what's stopping Microsoft from focusing on the casuals right out of the gate? Seems to me like they are trying to replicate the Wii's success, by using the Kinect on the 360 to try and test the waters. And if what your saying about the success of Kinect is true. Then what makes you think they won't focus on that next gen? With Nintendo out of the way with trying to go for the casuals. What's stopping Microsoft from trying to dominate that market? Just look at what Microsoft's CEO said.

http://www.worldtvpc.com/bl...

He said he that the Xbox brand is some casual family friendly entertainment center. LMAO

and this.

http://www.destructoid.com/...

With all that said, even WITHOUT the rumors of the next Xbox always needing Kinect to function etc. How the hell can anybody not be skeptical? lol

Lol I know right people act like this the official list. Nobody knows what core games MS will bring to the table.

Speculating is getting tiresome but its all we got right now.

YES!!!! For the love of God...Bring back MechAssault...hell...even just make it MechAssault HD Anniversary Edition...I would play that til my thumbs bleed!

MechAssault HD is a great idea!
CaulkSlap  +   543d ago
Microsoft is shooting themselves in the foot with all this Kinect garbage. That gimmick already played itself out.

With Halo/Gears both having new games out within a year before the Nextbox launch, Microsoft had better have something more than Kinect and multiplats to keep people on board.
Relientk77  +   543d ago
Personally I just dont really care for motion gaming no matter which company

I dont think Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft NONE of them should focus on motion gaming
dcbronco  +   543d ago
I think the problem is that people are stuck with the idea that Kinect is just for casual games. Hands free control devices are used for more than gaming. It is a move toward better things than having a standard controller in your hands. The next Kinect will have a better connection to the console and more power built into it. It's just a matter of people taking advantage of it and having more imagination than a bunch of fanboys. Many said it wouldn't work at all. Now they just complain about casual games.

At least they are learning.
SDF Repellent  +   543d ago
Hey, 30 millions Kinect sold is a lot buddy. Let's put it this way, Casual gamers outnumbered core gamers by 10 folds. After the first 3-4 years of a console life cycle, when all the core gamers bought a console, how else will console manufacturers going to increase console sales if they don't try to entice the casuals??? Tell me Sony just didn't bring out the Move and Eyepet camera because they love the hardcore, Please! The only difference is the Kinect somewhat succeeded and the Move not as much.

The excuse that Microsoft only have only Halo and Gears as core game is a so false. They also bought us Kameo, Perfect Dark, Alan Wake, crackdown, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Ninety Nine Nights, Ninja Blade, Shadow Complex, Project Gotham, Fable, Forza, Circle of Doom, Halo Wars, and many more Xbox Live exclusives.

With Ryse and Black Tusk new IP in the pipeline, no doubt more core games are going to be announced by E3. Microsoft is not that stupid when core games make them the most money on the software front.
Smeagol2033   543d ago | Trolling | show
Jek_Porkins  +   543d ago
Kind of a bunk list, but I'd say some of those games are a given.

Ryse
Alan Wake 2
Project Gotham Racing 5
Kinect Sports 3
New IP from Black Tusk
Console MMO from Lionhead

Possibly timed content from GTA5? Microsoft has deep pockets and pulled that off before.

Possibly timed maps again from COD.

Possibly timed or exclusive content from EA?

The truth of the matter is that Microsoft and its studios have been very quiet lately, meaning the last 3+ years, they could surprise a lot of people with some quality game content.

Just another fanboy purposely making up a crap launch list for the next xbox.
GusBricker  +   543d ago

A new Conker game than Killer Instinct 3.
