Elaine Burke: ''Michael Denny, senior vice-president of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s Worldwide Studios, couldn’t give us any more specifics of the PlayStation 4’s release, but he did give us a more detailed view of Sony’s vision for the next-generation console.''
Denny appointed head of studio at Lego franchise developer TT Games
I get the Vibe that a lot of Sony Employees just aren't really big fans of Jim Ryan and are dropping like flies after long careers of dedication to the brand. Shawn Layden was the first sign of that out the gate.
Seems like either a lot of the old guard is getting let go for a different regime or they're getting poached left & right given the success of the PlayStation 4 generation. Hopefully it will go well for everyone involved.
A lot of PlayStation leadership and developers are retiring, moving on and going elsewhere it seems like. Maybe its just me though. Whats clear...the people running PS4 when it launched are going to be the same people launching PS5.
After 25 years I would want a change also. I don't know the circumstances of this situation, just giving my opinion.
For all the doomsayers saying these people are all jumping ship speaking as someone who had the same job for 27 years since I was 16 sometimes you just want a change. I've been in the same industry for 30 years. This week I started a new career. It's only the 3rd job I've ever had in my life and I'm happy to not only be starting something new, but also to be leaving the baggage of my old job behind. If you haven't worked for one employer for that length of time then you don't know what it's like. Not to mention it's anything like my situation he could have received a years salary or more of accrued benefits which is a great safety Net and launchpad to try something new.
Michael Denny, European boss of Sony Worldwide Studios, said that the upcoming PlayStation lineup is not only the best ever but the broadest between the core triple-A games, the PlayLink games and the PS VR games.
and that's why PlayStation is the undisputed king of the world. the rich diversity of top quality exclusive games is gold level.
Michael Denny, who heads up the European arm of Sony Worldwide Studios, joined GameReactor in LA in the wake of Sony's press conference at E3 to talk about the state of PlayStation.

Denny :“Look at the games coming out on the PlayStation 3 like The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, GT6, and then on the third-party side of things another fantastic Assassin’s Creed, GTA,”
Wait..did he just let slip GT6 for the PS3?
@TongkatAli
True, but most likely it will be
1. limited
2. low quality compared to running on actual hardware
3. Fee to play
So basically GT6 is confirmed for the PS3. Surprised that the author of the article didn't point that out. I mean, GT6 hasn't even been announced yet.
