Wow I really didn't like this game, the controls are awful and so hard to use effectively.

really? I found using the gyroscopic controls were awesome for this game. In the options there are 3 different control types, you can use the tilt sensors, the analog sticks or the ZL / ZR buttons. So you have your choice. I find it hard to believe that there wasn't one option there that you would find suitable. I can't imagine how you would expect to control the game otherwise, aside from one of those 3 options.

To each their own though...

I'm not expecting the game to be controlled any other way, I never said that. My issue with the game isn't with the choice of controls, but with how they have been implemented. They are unresponsive and difficult to use making some of the levels near impossible. Compare this to games like Hydroventure on 3DS and there is just no comparison. Hydroventure controls respond accurately, so I have no idea why this isn't the case with Pudddle.

But yeah, each to their own..

which control method are you using primarily? I found using the ZL / ZR buttons it takes a bit of getting used to because it's not instantaneous on the response, you almost have to plan ahead just slightly since there seems to be a slight delay.

I found the tilt controls to be the most realistic way of playing the game, so I chose to stick with that. Something about actually tilting the device to mimic the tilting in the world seems more satisfying.

I haven't played Hydroventure, but I have heard great things about it.
