I would love too but i already got the GoW:Ascension collector's edition, Dead Island: Riptide Rigor Mortis edition and The last of us Post-pandemic edition's on my plate :D That's about $300 lol. I could afford it but i'm not sure if i should get a fourth collector's edition in 2 months.

Update: i just pre-ordered it. I freaking hate myself -_- lolz

It's a shame there is such a lack in interest in this game considering it looks spectacular and has an actual storyline built around it. I'm glad netherrealms studios hasn't given up on the fighter genre like many others have...hopefully this game will become a massive hit so that fighters in general can make a comeback.

Who exactly has given up lately? Namco has Tekken and Soul Calibur, Capcom has Street Fighter and SFxTekken, Sega has Virtua Fighter, WB has Mortal Kombat and now will have Injustice. 2011 and 2012 were years where fighting games made a comebak IMO.

I guess i should have been more specific..."many others" in the sense that back in the 90's fighters were the dominating genre...they were in fact everywhere, even some you never heard of simply because everyone wanted a fighter under their belt and that was what the public kept buying... The games you mentioned are what's left, and are few and far between...

any word on the next soul caliber or tekken?? Sega has virtua fighter? Did you forget just how many fighters sega had in the 90's?? And don't bring up old rehashed hd ports, as i don't include those as being "supported"...

Capcom also had other fighters besides street fighter back in the day and it seems they have given in to the criticism seeing as how there is no new street fighter on the horizon...not that it's needed...
and how well was M.vs.C 3 received which was the bonafied sequel everyone was waiting for? Not too well actually...

Same goes for mortal kombat which released it's best version a couple of yrs ago now but to little fan fair...
what i was trying to say is since this generation of gamers are more into 1st person shooters and open world gaming, than developers don't have much of an incentive to try anything else...which is why i'm keeping my fingers crossed for this game...

P.s.
I also think the name will do more harm than good as it gives no indication of it being about DC super heroes and such...they should have gone with DC Universe: Injustice League or something of that nature.

yeah I'm surprised to see how low the heat is on this. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the terrible title though, pretty generic and no mention of DC comics...it sounds like an obscure pc top down RPG.

I'm not so sure about the storyline though... the cinematics have nothing to do with the gameplay at all, I don't really like the disparity.
