The multiplayer co-op in Mass Effect 3 was a most pleasant surprise for me, and kept me playing for a while. Like Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, everyone was keen to judge the game's multiplayer offering without actually have any solid idea of what it would be like.

That's why I'm careful not to leap on the Tomb Raider bandwagog: I'd rather wait and see how it turns out, because so far two games that people said should never have multiplayer have turned out to have two of my favorite multiplayer components: Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect.

Quite a few people I know disliked the idea of having things unlocked randomely, but I really liked it. It kinda brought back the feeling of buying booster packs of stuff like Yu-gi-oh! and Magic when I was younger.
