The name Ouya always reminds me of the battle theme in Persona 3.

Ouya console is useless, its a Android console.... I can plug my S3 to TV/monitor via hdi and attach a PS3 controller via Bluetooth and play games...

Yeah, I've done that, too, and the experience is far from optimal. Not all games have native support for controllers (none of Gameloft's stuff supports controllers, for once), and many games with controller support is limited. For example, in Beach Buggy Blitz I can use my PS3 controller only in the actual races, but when a run is over, I need to control the menus with the touch screen, so it's a big hassle.

Also, my TV's aspect ratio gets screwed when displaying the tablet's content.

Ouya will have controller support for ALL of its games, and all of its games will be displayed correctly on the screen, without any screen cropping. That alone will make a big difference.

If OUYA lets us play games like Shadowgun, Meganoid, the GTA games, N.O.V.A, Modern Combat, Real Racing, Horn, and nice indie games (2D platformers, etc)... all for the same prices on the Google Play store (usually $1, maximum $6)... then I will be VERY happy.

If there will be games for Ouya. That is. So far there are none. Tegra3 is just not fast enough...

Fast enough for what? I've seen a few high quality games for Tegra 3 Android devices, but they're usually hindered by the less than optimal touch screen controls.

Yes, we can't expect PS3-level games on the Ouya, and I'm fine with that. But still, the little machine is, in theory, capable of playing good games that look good on HD screen.

You're right that it still remains to be seen whether Ouya will get decent game support or not, though.
