Glad that you like that although, it took them over 20 years to make this is kind of a non-issue for me.
Anyone back in the 80's that owned a sinclair zx-spectrum (timex over here in the u.s) where the games loaded from an audio cassette already had this - as the game loaded into the computer (using regular av cables) the screen would always change showing you images of the game etc - back then it was absolutely revolutionary and still amazes me to this day.
Glad that nintendo keep adding little features like this though to peak peoples curiosity etc.
