Its a start.

But I think the limited time means they are testing this price change.

Whats there to test? If Sony drops prices on memory cards, the Vita will become a more attractive proposition to people on the fence...no questions asked.

True but what seems to be the biggest problem is getting third party on board. Third part just do not seem interested in the Vita. Memory cards is one thing. Third part games is a completely different and more important thing.

Testing to see the loss in profits via memory card discount, versus the increased sales profits of more Vita's sold. Duh.

Would have been nice if I saw this earlier... Just bought a 32GB for $99 this afternoon. I went to pretty much every store, and no one had ANY Vita stuff on sale at all. Not even games. Like fucking really? Such a waste of time. Everyone advertised "sales", but the advertised prices were the regular retail prices. I don't understand how that's even legal when it's just a complete and outright lie.

Also, this article lists incorrect prices. When I click the Sony link they're all on sale, but for more money than the article states.

The article is correct actually. When you check out, a $20 promotional discount is added on top of the sale price.
TheLastGuardian  +   634d ago
Come on, they couldn't have temporarily dropped the prices before Christmas? Someone just bought me a 32 GB card for $80. Oh well, I'm just glad to finally have one. I went the last six months with just a 4 GB. It's so much nicer being able to download everything I want and not have to swap out games all the time.

Better idea,

include one, at least 4 giga (one game size) in each vita box.

Ppl dont want to pay for the system, for a game AND for a card only to be able to play it.

They need at least to make ppl feel that the first game can be playable without purchase anything besides the system and the game itself.

Hey.

Stop commenting on Vita articles.

Thanks.

On topic: Looks like it's time to pick up that 32GB.

Edit: lmao at CommonSenseGamer losing it below. Finally showing his true colors, eh?

You spent your unique buuble to tell me that? lol
Get a life kid, I comment wherever I want, you STOP to send me private message, I hate fanboys and that includes you.

btw I am not trolling when I say that sony should include a free memory card, actually all the vita supporters would be happy, but you sony drones (not the real supporters, the one that actually buy the vita, but the teenagers that spend a day on the internet and ask for the parents to buy even a hot cake) are just too blind about the vita, that even a good advice get voted down...
