It makes no sense to purposefully keep one of the three SKUs at full price.
"Maybe they want to give console players a good deal so both platforms are on a level playing field with each other."
Why would any business do that?
I'm not complaining about "freekin' CHEAPER GAMES" either. I already own the game, I just know of a few people who were waiting for it to go on sale on Steam so they could pick it up.
Stop acting like I have no right to express my displeasure about something.
I disagree with what you say, but i defend to the death your right to say it.
There's just no need to call them "scumbags" because they only discounted one platform.
Discounting anything at all when games are more expensive with less profit is made every year is nice enough gesture. They didn't strictly need to give ANYONE anything cheaper.
Why would you grudge console players a cut price when we get burned on literally every single title when PC guys pay $40 instead of $60 all the time? Technically you get universal Day 1 $20 discounts on overy game.
Next time I need to remind myself to not purchase any tiles that release close to the holiday. Looks like giving a month wait will save me a lot of bucks.
Most blockbuster titles drop to $39.99 within 2 months. Lesser known titles like Tales of Graces F tend not to get quick price drops. The game came out in March and its still not even $40 yet.
I did it this year... I held out and haven't payed over $40 for any new releases. Some games like Forza Horizon I got for just $15. It was hell waiting, but I got some great deals. Also, Best Buy is running many of the same deals in case anyone has a gift card or something.
I said the same thing last year. This year I only bought Halo on release date due to a pretty good deal with a 360 I found. Now I bought Hitman, Far Cry 3 for 42 pounds together. Hitman alone two weeks ago was 38... ^^
Maybe they want to give console players a good deal so both platforms are on a level playing field with each other.
Only this gen do people complain through random profiles on news sites about freekin' CHEAPER GAMES.
Face? meet palm. *facepalm*

It was a joke response to my displeasure. No need to get your knickers in a bunch.
(oh and btw, PC games typically launch at $50-60. Not $40)
