Are saggy and face is sub-par. Plus I also don't appreciate gimmicks like that in my video reviews.

Personally when watching game review videos I don't really care what the person looks like, I care much more about how good they are at reviewing the game.

Well that was...unnecessarily harsh.

Perjoss is right...But not in this case. Everyone knows FF13 and its sequels+spinoffs suck so this video is all about the boobs.

Agree Donbear, with the second part of your statement.

As for your first, its nothing that a poorly lit room couldn't fix.

Three things wrong with this review.

1. Boobies are obviously intentional. Put those damn things away.

2. Reviewing an old game that is generally negatively received.

3. Reviewing an old game that is generally negatively received with dumbed down 360 version.

lol. True FF fans play FF only on Sony and Nintendo platforms.

A true Final Fantasy fan plays the game however they want to and enjoys it however they choose to.

She's playing the jacked up 360 port? Are you serious? Also, welcome to 2 years ago.

I wasn't expecting much but this was actually a very well put together and presented video. I haven't really played a lot of the more recent Final fantasy games but nothing I've seen really makes me want to. I think the main problem that needs correcting, even more than the lack of exploration or interaction is the look of the whole thing. Maybe I'm too old-school but I really think they should go back to more stylised cute looking character models like the cutscenes of Final Fantasy 7 and ditch the realism and sexiness that has every character looking like they're on their way to a My Chemical Romance show (sorry if that's already an outdated reference but that's the newest band I can think of and I'm pretty sure they fit my comment despite the fact that I've never seen or heard them) . They should also have more faith in their audience and go back to impressing us with heart and feeling rather than huge blockbuster moments. The Final fantasy games are mostly well loved because they give you that heartbreaking sort of nostalgic achey feeling (even the ones I never played as a kid) and make you feel truly as if youre escaping into another world rather than trying to thrill you with epic action setpieces and Star warsy space battles.

Also boobies.

She did pick the worst version to review, but if I remember right it doesn't really matter as the first 4 hours of the game is just press X and no tactics involved at all. And when you do finally get quite far into the game all I could think of is when will they let me out of this corridor and into the open world.

Someone FINALLY mentions the prelude and victory fanfare missing in a review of this game. :|

I agree with everything she mentioned, I've played every FF since Final Fantasy 1 on the NES and FF13 is by far the worse I've ever touched.

By far the worst FF I've ever played. A lot of FF XIII fans say "well every FF has been linear". Correct, to a certain point. The story is linear, however there was a huge over-world/open world for you to explore and tons of sidequests. Not only that, but while the older FF were LINEAR, they weren't a STRAIGHT FUCKING LINE hour after hour.

Also, I found it hilarious that on the front page the temperature icon just perfectly covers her face so all you see are her tits.

Must not click video... but it is so hard to resist. In all seriousness, I can't really comment on the review because I don't trust reviewers and I didn't watch the video. To be honest, the only reason I would watch the video is to see her boobs, which are clearly display to attract viewers.

The thing is, when a woman does this it becomes hard to actual take that person serious because I am only watching to see her boobs and not her what she thinks. I don't know, I try to be forward thinking but I really want to watch this video to see her prominently displayed boobs.

On a side note, who cares if they are sagging.

She wants to discuss her "feelings" about FFXIII and all you people want to do is discuss her FFXIII cup size! You should be ashamed of yourselves. Now I can't get on her web page because it's overloaded with traffic. All of you want to keep staring at her pair of "feelings". Disgusting minds!!!!!!!
rainslacker  +   1141d ago
She didn't have to wear a shirt with a plunging neck line and sit in such a way that emphasizes that feature if she had a problem with it. She's doing it for hits. If she wanted people to pay attention to her feelings then she could have dressed more appropriately, or avoided having her picture there in the first place. Something more appropriate would maybe just showing some artwork that emphasizes the game instead of her, there is certainly plenty to be had on the internet.

It's no different than how any media outlet throws up a pretty face because they know it will attract viewers.

To be fair, Marzgurl has released over 100 video reviews and has worn plenty of things in them, from regular t-shirts to low-cut tops. Just because a girl is wearing something low-cut, doesn't mean she's necessarily doing it for attention or hits. Maybe she just likes the shirt? Maybe it's hot in her house? Maybe she just doesn't give a crap and made a video wearing whatever she was wearing that day. Sure, there are plenty of so-called "girl gamers" who show off their looks and boobs for hits. But that doesn't mean every girl on a gaming site is doing the same.

Maybe I'm just touchy about the issue because I'm a girl myself, but I really hate the implication that showing off cleavage (which is a natural part of a woman's body) is somehow "inappropriate" or attention-seeking. Especially when she just seems to be a regular, everyday girl sharing her opinion on a game she is passionate about.

That may be so, but given how most males react when it comes to gamer girls in general, regardless of what they are wearing, then it can be safe to assume what I did because she is probably also well aware of this, given that she's done over 100 reviews.

I don't really care what she wears, but if someone wants to be taken seriously, then they should dress as such. I don't go to a job interview wearing a muscle shirt, because I'd prefer someone pay attention to my abilities as opposed to my appearance. I also don't expect to be taken seriously by someone I don't know on political topics(which I am very adept at discussing) when I'm wearing my $5 mario shirt from Wal-Mart, because I don't live in a bubble, and know that people are prejudiced and judgmental. It's the nature of our society, and whether right or wrong, it's just the way it is.

I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with what she's wearing, and see women wear similar clothing all the time, but the nature of the pictures implies that she is using her attributes to draw attention, when it's really the game that should draw the attention. It is a review after all. She, and you for submitting the article, decided to put that forward for scrutiny, albeit maybe unintentionally because you didn't see anything wrong with it, as maybe she didn't. A picture of FF13 could have served to focus on the game, as it is the norm for 99% of the game reviews out there.

Quite honestly the only reason I didn't watch this was because of the picture, because my first assumption was that she was trying to stand out because of this. You know why that is my first assumption? Because so many women already do this in our community, and it bothers me as much as people that say stupid and inane things about women gamers. Also it's an old game that I've played several times, have platinumed, and have already read pretty much everything there is to read on it, both negative and positive.

To that end, I have no clue who this woman is. I have no clue why her opinion should be important to me. I have no clue as to if she is a good reviewer. I have no clue about what she wears in her other videos, or even if she does other videos.

What I do have a clue about is that the first impression I had of her was that she was just another girl gamer seeking attention. To deny that that exists in our community is just being naive. Those types of girls do not show them in a good light, and only reinforce the stereotype that exists, even though I know it's far from truth.
