Not a very enlightening article. Range of scores and average aren't very meaningful. If a console comes out with 30 games and half are between 80 and 90 and the other half are terrible games, it will have a low average. Another console could get only 10 games and half could be 80 to 90 and the other half just average. What you've got is a third as many good to great games. I dont mind my console having terrible games released on it as long as it has lots of good or great ones. But the way this article would present it, the console with more good and great games looks worse just because it also has some bad games.

Gotta agree... it really doesn't tell us anything at all. Some of the more successful consoles were lower and systems like the Dreamcast avg high yet failed.
