Bargain of the century /s

It will sell though, without a doubt.

Didn't that other collection go for almost a million dollars this year? Granted, it had more games, but still.

If you were a billionaire, and loved games like Gabe Newell, would you get your ass to work on Half-Life 3 or spend lots of money on games to play?
deep_fried_bum_cake  +   592d ago
Yeah, someone will definitely be rich or stupid enough to buy it. I wouldn't though (not that I could) as it works out at like $34 a game and I'm not even willing to pay that much for high budget modern games.

@deep also remember each one of these games has a box and 85% have manuals. The box can be worth more than the actual game. Some of these games are worth $1000+ alone its a great deal made by the best snes emulator dev www.byuu.org bsnes is amazing. I can't wait for him to get his European and Japanese collection next.

Erudito is just an idiot. He doesn't understand the market of collectors.

lol only an idiot would buy them at 20k you can buy a sony 4k tv for that price
Dasteru  +   592d ago
@Erudito87:

Only an idiot wouldn't buy them @25k.

The Collector's value of them in this condition is easily 5x that much.

Even if you don't want them for a personal collection you can immediately resell them and make a huge profit.

You clearly don't know much about SNES games or collecting in genral or you wouldn't have posted something so stupid, Ironically calling others idiots.

As for the TV, Yeah sure you could buy that instead. Enjoy it while you can though as in 1 year it's value will be less than half that, in 5 years it will be completely worthless.

This collection of SNES games on the other hand will only go up in value over time.

Eh, I've got two places where I live that sell older games. If I want any SNES games I'll go pick them up there lol. Plus, as stated above... Emulators are out there.

Brawler  +   592d ago
Yes it is this collection was done for his emulaot he made bsnes. Www.byuu.org he collected these to make dumps to preserve the games.
wishingW3L  +   592d ago
he collected all these games just to obtain the dumps of all of them? Wow, talking about dedicated people... At least we now can be sure that all Snes games will be preserved. And it's good that he has done that because it may seem bad to some because of piracy but there are games like Suikoden II and Shining Force III that the only way to play them is through either emulation or by paying hundreds of dollars for a hard copy (and probably in bad condition).

I bet that in like 10 years PS3 games will cost a crap load of money too since their file sizes are so extreme that it will be really hard to preserve them. So keep all those PS3 games you think will become really rare because someday you could sell them to pay your wedding, studies or something.

Valkyria Chronicles will be one of those ultra expensive rare games I think. XD

Hmmm, let me look in my wallet and see if I have enough.
