Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing that Namco Bandai Games will launch Project Versus J, the "ultimate Jump game," next year. The annoucement depicts One Piece's Monkey D. Luffy, Dragon Ball's Son Goku, and Toriko's title character.
Release date and platforms have yet to be announced.
Namco Bandai has launched a teaser site for Project Versus J, the Jump crossover game for PS3 and Vita.10 days left.
was wondering what happened to this game, hopefully they'll have a release date soon
From what I understand, they're just revealing another character (which I'm guessing will be Naruto since he was already leaked).
Though, I would be happy with more.
My hopes are actually high for a localization.
The reason being is that Namco Bandai also has the Western video game license for all three of these franchises, and then Funimation has the Western video game license for the voice acting. And for good measure, Viz Media also has the Western license on the printed side. And all three of these business seem to work together very well.
No license-localization nightmare. That's almost what killed Tatsunoko vs Capcom from crossing over the Pacific.
GamerTell's biweekly Important Importables features goes over some of the most intriguing 3DS, PS3 and Vita games coming out in Q1 and Q2 of 2013. Included in the list of games to watch are Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Disgaea Dimension 2, Project Versus J, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Phantasy Star Online 2 and more.
Namco Bandai Games has released art and screenshots for the anime crossover game, Project Versus J.
Looking at that third image... The game looks crazy and I can't wait to see some videos of the game in motion on both the Vita and the PS3. The Vita more than the PS3 though.
I watch some anime but have never heard of Toriko. It must be good if its in the same league of dragonball and one piece.
Hopefully this will make its way onto either the Wii U or 3DS, because I need this game!
So it's going to be like Jump Superstars and Ultimate Jump superstars? Interesting..
I would love this game to be on ps3 so i can import it...
This is so one sided... Nothing can beat those OP DBZ characters. They can destroy planets just by powering up.
It will be a game for the 3DS and it will stay in Japan.
