Finally, a game test my 590!

my "old" msi n580gtx lightning is able to max out the setting(minus the Vsync) and get a stable 50-60fps in all the situations, so dont worry.

I hope these drivers will fix the msaa issue. i know msaa hits the performance a lot but in fc3 it's just too much heavy performance hit.

I know a few people have turned off MSAA completely and just enabled FXAA in the Nvidia control panel. Have you tried that?
Bimkoblerutso  +   633d ago
Didn't really help the issue, to be honest. In fact, I don't know about other cards, but I'm running a couple of 560ti's and I saw almost no performance gain whatsoever from these drivers.

You always have to take those percentages with a grain of salt, in my experience.

Man, i wonder how crappy my performance would be if i used old drivers, seems like theres a 5-10% bump in performance every month or 2.

Hopefully included the SLI profiles this time. Had a few issues with the latest Nvidia beta drivers but fingers crossed (I was) this takes care of that.

Stunning game though.

Game is fun as can be. Looks great, though I wish MSAA worked without such a dramatic performance hit. Goes from 70-80fps on Ultra with no AA to 40's even with 2x MSAA OC 7970, 16Gb DDR3 @ 1866 9-9-9-24, and i7-3930k @ 4.3GHz

Running latest Beta 12.11 Beta 11 with Cap 2 drivers

Still getting a bit of microstutter in crossfire with 6950s
calibann  +   633d ago
Set your max buffered frames to 1 and see if that resolves the microstutter.

I have a GTX 680 2GB and I have everything at ultra with MSAA at full and I'm getting a steady 30 FPS. Once you take that off I'm getting well over 60 FPS. So far only Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs and this seem to be kicking my card's butt!

I'm still doing alright with my 560 Ti. Everything maxed, MSAA at 2, Alpha To Cover at Enhanced. Drops to 20fps in shader-heavy areas filled with enemies, but for the most part I get a steady 40fps. In some places, like the caves for example, I actually get 50-60fps. Not upgrading my card just yet, I'm gonna skip the 600 series and wait for a 760 Ti with at least 2GB of RAM.

yeah i was gonna upgrade to 660's from my 560's but i'll wait and get 760's as well.
