No, nothing. Gaming is a hobby for me enjoyment, story, social, competitive.

I could care less about stats and accomplishments from other people.

I do enjoy talking about games with friends, but it's the story and discovery I talk about not KDR.

I like watching fighting game tournaments but I'm not much of a fan of e-sports like Halo or RTS games, just fighting games.

starcraft 2 is the single best multiplayer game ever concieved

league of legends, street fighter, halo, blops, all those other games are just games, starcraft 2 is a freaking sport, more so than bowling, fishing, hunting, poker, anything else that people have the audacity to call a sport

No, not really. Although "sport" is really just a competition of sorts, the term these days has come to mean something that requires some level of large-scale physical exertion. Much as people might hate it, even NASCAR is far more of a sport than esports.

More to the point, what REASON is there to care about esports? The teams mean nothing to us, unless we personally know someone. They're not representing any cities in a league, there is no college level. It's just random guys- and girls- playing video games and getting paid for it. But there's no reason to be personally invested.

That's such a good point. I completely agree. If esports were somehow marketed with teams and individuals I can relate to, I would likely be much more interested.

If you're THAT good at a game, it's time to move on to a new one. That's always been my opinion on this.

Depends on the game. The game must be at a tactical pace unless it's a fighting game where most of the action takes place in one area.

Do I care? Nope, zip, zilch, nada. I play games for fun and relaxation. I find that playing competitively often ruins both. As a result, I tend to gravitate towards non-competitive games or games where you can still do okay and have fun without giving yourself 110%.
