Holy crap, a 10 from eurogamer? I've never seen that since GTA 4, amazing! Looks like those few extra months were well spent to make sure the game was perfect! Way to go Ubisoft!
Yeah, the game is getting awesome reviews... my most anticipated FPS of 2012, but IMO there is no such thing as a perfect 10, but for Eurogamer to give it a 10 it must be amazing.
I wasn't interesting in this game before but now I want to know a bit more about it. All I know so far is that it is open world and has a woman who is topless, which makes this game a no go for me... Hopefully, Eurogamer is right about this one though. After all, Eurogamer also gave Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood a 10/10.
An astounding achievement by Ubisoft, especially when considering the hate directed towards them regarding Far Cry 2. The game looks stunning, immersive and fun. I can't wait for release date to arrive.
I liked having to fight Malaria, it put an extra challenge in the way I played. As for the enemies, I only ever saw cars pull up with repkacement soldiers, but hey your not liking it is your perogative, and has no bearing on my experience.

Exactly. Can't believe a game like this is flying so low under the radar. It's ranked 25 on N4G according it's heat meter (whatever). That's just crazy. People just don't seem that interested.
I really hope this game does well commercially, so more developers realise that gamers don't really need re-hashed shooter tropes to satiate the shooter-fix.
Ive pre ordered it on pc & cant wait, however 10/10. Means perfect, yet the multiplayer isn't up to much according to most other review sites & the Eurogamer reviewer didn't spend much time with it, so giving a perfect score seems a little Ott. Glad it's great mind.
This game is getting very positive reviews, a bit the contrary of what I was expecting. I didn't like the second game for a plethora of reasons but the respawning checkpoints alone was enough to ruin a potentially somewhat enjoyable game for me, and Unisoft is getting it right with this game. Needless to say, I am really looking forward to this.

All jokes aside, despite it's shortcomings here and there, Farcry 2 was one of my favorite games this gen.. REALLY can't wait for this one!

Edit: I am still excited about GTA 5 but after playing GTA 4 which is the only GTA game that I never completed.

the stupid pills u needed to take was annoying
and also the enemies u killed respawn right front of you....u just need to turn your back and walk 10meters away and return.

Visual? Its too broad a term. Visual experience,graphics, art style all different and will differ depending on the kind of game.
Open world vs linear not a good comparison. Also differing themes and setting
