i did not see this coming. never realised people in the uk showed any interest in the vita i have a friend who bought it and sold it soon after. i'm also glad to see its doing well, the vita is an impressive piece of tech albeit an expensive one. i hope sony really pushes the idea of crossplatform play when the ps4 comes out it will completely and entirely destroy the wiiU screen/controller thingy whatever they decide to call it.
i think the one game that will make the PSVita explode in japan mainly but also world wide is an exclusive new MonsterHunter game. i would expect sony to pull it off maybe next year otherwise it would be a wasted opportunity.
The Vita can easily handle console quality games, and at 50 bucks we expect it to come pretty damn close. The handheld excuse is ridiculous, declassified might have cod controls and gameplay, but it has the content of a phone game.
There's no future for the Wii U, it's dead on arrival, its traditional market has now been dominated by PS3 and 360s, the price is high and additional expensive storage is needed. It's very tough for the consumer to justify a new system that's going to cost him around $400, and $60 for each game, when there are cheaper PS3s with the same functionality and hundreds of stellar games for 10, 20 dollars and whole series for $40.
NOW REPLACE THE WORD Wii U with PS Vita PS3 with smartphone and 360 with tablet adjust the prices and there u have it,

gta / mirror edge / tekken / cod 4 / gt
just imagine playing tekken tag tournament 2 online in vita , it's just crazy >.< , it would be really really fun playing against my brother ...
Oh well, maybe they'll enjoy it.
Should have bought Gravity Rush instead though :P
You put too much faith in the mass market
But gravity rush is not the same type of game is it.
similar situation to Duke Nukem Forever
