Yeah the sony ,and microsoft people keep forgetting that when hte 360 launched they ported over xbox 1 games, and some critics said the xbox version looked better and when the ps3 launched people trashed a lot of the 3rd party games for not looking good, but when sony, and microsoft launch their new hardware next year, and they look no different, what will these same people be like? Game engines this gen have been adjusted to PS360 specs over the years. The WiiU is new and different hardware, plus devs confirmed they haven't fully understood it. So those ports will surely have issues, its not the fault of the hardware.

N4G logic if it doesn't look nice and shiny it isn't next gen.

Launch games always look poor, no big deal. If you put one of the latest PS3/360 games side by side with a release game the difference is huge.

I highly wouldn't consider it bad hardware. It has IBM technology running it. Gamecube had IBM power pc gecko hardware and remember how resident evil games looked on it, also Mario sunshine, luigi's mansion and Zelda, Metroid games?

Obviously the people hating dont have a wii u. i just finished playing cod zombies in bed without turning on the tv. that is pretty awesome.

Nintendo's business model has always been to stay in the Black and make a profit off the hardware and keep margins for said devices above board. In doing so, the hardware inside will always be a step behind. It's capable but it will always be just capable.

Battlefield 4 and other games for PS3 and 360 will be ported to the Wii U when PS4 and Xbox 8 hits.
Im sorry folks, devs are lazy, they will make next gen versions for PS4, Xbox 8 and PC and port current gen versions to Wii U.

The polygon graphics rendering method has become too time consuming,costly & computationally expensive but there is a better way to accomplish graphics rendering it's called point cloud data (floating atoms).

I have a Wii U and I think it is awesome. I also have a xbox360 and PS3and every other console that launched in North America within the last 20 years. I'm not bias like these little whiney fanboys. I know the Wii U is a powerful system by playing it for myself but it is like every console at launch.You get some rushed games but judging by the games I played, if this is rushed I can't wait for developers to come to grips with the system.
