Story looks incredible. The graphics look unbelievable. The dialog and writing is freakin brilliant. This isnt a drive from yellow circle to yellow circle show. The missions look intense and Uncharted level in an open world. I am so sold on this. I am ready for this! I truly want this so much now.
@No FanS Land GTA doesn't have a monopoly over anything, sandbox wise many people would agree games like Just Cause and Saints Row have a better sandbox than GTA now. GTA is now known for it's superior story telling and character development.
Looks good. Seems like the trains are back with a vengeance, semis with trailers again, whatever the deal is with driving the car off the car hauler and the Jeep out of the cargo plane, we have dogs, helicopters, fighter jets and a Chenowth style buggy. Add that to all the bikes, motorcycles, cars, trucks, SUVs, aircraft, etc and it looks like we are picking up back where San Andreas left off.

I've never laughed so hard at a GTA trailer before! Detail was amazing as well. Action packed, great voice actors, dogs, tanks, crashing trains. This is the GTA i've dreamed of.
Wow Game looks Amazing ,Actually Looks like what i see everyday out here in Cali.. I could see the rich guy being Tommy Vercetti and the Black Hispanic looking Dude being Carl Johnson , but the Other Crazy Guy. Only Reminds me of That guy in Vice City that loves BoomShine,or Moon i dunno Phil Cassidy, anybody notice the See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil thing at the end... How would you reroute two trains to slam into each other . You should be ableto run into CLAUDE like we did in san andreas

I don't see the point of switching characters though, I mean I'd rather they let you choose from the start who you want to be and you play them for the entire game. People are going to have their favorites so switching will seem pointless in my opinion
I know that I'm just saying since thats what people are mostly going to do having most likely already picked their favorite character it kind of defeats the point at switching characters.

So i post everything as soon as possible and only have a small amount of time to edit it It is not really worth my time. I have other things to do. I do not believe in the auto correct thing as it makes more mistakes than it Fixes
Im not going to get overhyped because of what happened to GTA4 but i gotta admit this looks good so far,i really just hope they bring back majority of what made GTA:SA fun.
I was wondering when we would see a proper implementation of the RAGE engine and Carmack's "mega-textures" coding architecture. In hindsight this was a logical union of two developers.
Anyone that played RAGE remembers the superb shooting mechanics. This actually makes me excited for GTA-5.

Yeah. Everything about this trailer made me smile. The Rottweiler, the fact that Trevor is a psycho (he reminds of Porter from Payback), the detail of all the enviroments, planes, trains and automobiles, and the brilliant back and forth between the characters which reminds me of an 80's 'buddy' film.
I hope they don't get in trouble though as the R8-alike looks exactly the same as an actual R8.
well, the R8 look a like had separated rounded taillights, a bit like skylines R33, or alfa romeos. this should be enough to separate this car from the actual audi with its signature squared-off taillights.
The bald white trash maniac reminds you of Porter, the cold silent - elegant - killer portrayed by Gibson?! Really?! He reminds me of Billy Bob Thornton. A lot! :)
looks decent, i want to see real gameplay and hear about more features. i like the three main characters thing and size of the world but i was unimpressed with the rest. i want as much stuff to do as san andreas otherwise its just gonna be another giant boring world like gta 4

Character models could improve but the enviroments look awesome, a lot more colorful than GTA 4, can't wait to see the PC version.
It seems the game won't be as badly optimized as GTA 4 since the meshes on the textures seem to be perfectly made which would even make low res textures look higher res. Like the meshes mod on skyrim. Rockstar never fails to impress.

True they said that but isn't that girl in the artwork, the one getting arrested by the female officer, if i remember correctly she's wearing a Love fist shirt. So some of the old characters have to exist to a certain degree in the HD Gta's right? I hope so. I would settle for just seeing small things from other Gta's. Seeing Groove street now, and what became of it etc. Would have been cool to see Salvatore's mansion or Saint Marco's Bistro in Gta4.

Different genre so I truly doubt it will "swallow it up" like you said. A lot of people are hype for it too and though it won't do gta numbers it will stand on its own.

It does stand a chance, considering ND's pedigree, but seeing as Sony don't have the marketing chops this gen, TLoU will do better being released well away from GTAV.
You can't compare Alan Wake to TLoU since that game had no hype what so ever. It never was in the spotlight like TLoU has been when it's shown. But I agree it will do better as long as it isn't in the same week as GTA V. I truly will like to see how GTA V will stack up against the next COD game. Though GTA will put some impressive numbers I doubt it will beat COD in biggest sales.
