Games that come out yearly have little to no added value; majority is reused assets and code.
Why pay full price for reused stuff?
SKIP ANNUALS, just like COD.
Why do you think the best games never come out yearly? Good games require time, while annuals require paying off reviewers.
MGS, Uncharted, etc etc never would be so good if they came out yearly.
SKIP TRASH. Dont listen to reviews listen to reality. They reuse assets and code, nearly everything for annual releases; why keep this terrible cycle going?
Look man, I know what ya'll mean, and I don't disagree with you 100% at all. I’m not for annual titles either, but the COD games have the same development time as most other high profile games these days. 2 years. UC 2&3 both had the same amount of development time. The COD games just have 2 developers working on them. Am I trying to say COD is the same as UC, of course not, but they do put as much time into these games as a lot of others do as well, so I just don't see why that is one of the main attack points of the COD games. I do understand that milking the cow until it drops dead at your feet is never the way to go, but they put no less time into it than any other average game.
True, the best thing any development studio can do is design a gaming engine and base a series around it. Most notably Epic with the unreal engine, not only do they use it themselves they license it to other companies.
Some companies over use the same engine though, not pointing any fingers but it becomes overly obvious when the only real change is the box art. :)
Shame Konami didn't do anything with whatever MGS4 was built on, that was one sexy assed game and it still looks the business even today.
This kind of thing happens on Twitter all the time. Someone writes a really awesome joke and a zillion parody accounts eat it up and regurgitate.
What's odd is when people respond to the parody accounts, expecting a response back. Particularly when it's obvious that the account is just a bot account.
Actually it started as No Shave November before it was anything to do with cancer. People just did it for fun and grew moustache and beard. Whoever decided to make it about cancer used the 'Movember' pun, since most people hadn't heard about it before it became known as 'Movember' that name became more prevalent for the event. The more you know.
The jokes are normally started by attention whore girlfriends. You know the ones that start complaining you don't pay enough attention to them the SECOND you pick up the controller?
Glad I don't have one of those girlfriends. Mine is actually playing the games with me, and went to pre-order The Last Of Us for herself lol
I love that someone has the balls to come out and say it: BEARDS ARE AWESOME. Women say they prefer clean-shaven guys. But screw women (more or less literally), BEARDS ARE AWESOME.
There's a guy on YouTube (his channel's phreakindee, in case you're wondering) and he has this ridiculous beard. Every time I see it, I just want to stroke it and receive the knowledge of old PC gaming.
I... just made a comment talking about beards... now if only I could grow one. :/
I want to see a game studio that actually ask gamers what kinda games they would like to have...ya know...and the gamers can bring their ideas for the game whether it be for the story, character, backgrounds/levels concept art....I think that would be the perfect studio...and of course it would be divided into diff. categories so people who like platforming could comment on that type of game.

So, yeah, that's spamming.
Why on earth wouldnt you?

Jesus, I feel horrible whenever I look at this.

It's called Movember and you only grow a moustache.
I love keys.
How the hell is this news X_x

On a side note, you keep that beard all the way, all the time, as long as you can. Beards are epic, don't trust whoever says the otherwise.
That's a scientific fact, as evidenced by:
Naked Snake
Ezio Auditore
Sam Fisher
John Marston
Zangief
Joel
And... Captain Friggin' Price (the father of monstrous facial hair).
