Which is why MS supported HD-DVD over Blu-ray and where one of the last major adapters? Also why Sony C-blocked media and security codecs, make it the standard which did eventually net MS ton in royalties, for HD discs?

I would like to say that so many of you are missing the bigger picture. It doesn't matter what the film is, or where else in the world it's available; in one territory MS has gone to the effort of securing the rights to a big name film before it's general release.
That could've been a game or DLC. But instead, they spent money on a film. What does that mean for the Xbox as a brand? It marks a turning point in the move towards 'entertainment' as opposed to 'gaming.'
Oh Microsoft! When this is big news from them I only wonder what they think will excite us gamers when they reveal the Next XBox. Please bring us games!

i can rent it on amazon thru ps3 and this Tuesday PSN should have it for rent and not just for purchase anymore
